“Ale Damasceno is a Brazilian drummer with a Master of Music in Performance from UNICAMP, a Specialist Degree in Higher Education Teaching from FMU, and a Bachelor of Music (Drums) from Faculdade de Artes Alcântara Machado. He has participated in the recording of several Brazilian popular and instrumental music albums, including the DVD Para Inglês Ver e Ouvir by singer Zizi Possi, nominated for the TIM Award for Best Album in a Foreign Language. Nowadays, Ale Damasceno is a doctoral researcher in Musical Arts – Performance (Global Music) at the Sibelius Academy, Uniarts Helsinki, and is actively teaching, performing, and collaborating with musicians and institutions across Europe.
Now a days Ale Damasceno is currently enrolled in DMA (doctor in Musical Arts) in the Nova University of Lisbon, and is also teaching and playing around Europe.
